Another WWE contract is set to expire soon.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) and PWN’s Viper report that Ricochet‘s WWE contract is set to expire this summer. The Wrestling Observer previously reported that Ricochet signed a five-year deal in 2019. The report notes that, per WWE sources, contract discussions are planned between the two sides.

Ricochet has been with WWE since 2018. He is a former United States Champion and Intercontinental Champion, among other accolades. He is currently the WWE Speed Champion. Ricochet is also engaged to RAW ring announcer Samantha Irvin. Before he signed with WWE, he wrestled for NJPW, EVOLVE, Lucha Underground, PWG, and Dragon Gate, among other promotions.

Multiple WWE contracts have come up in recent months, and this is likely to continue, as a number of talents signed five-year deals in 2019.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
