SCRYPTS, formerly known as Reggie, is set to be a free agent soon, as his contract is coming up.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that SCRYPTS’ WWE contract is set to expire at the start of June. Per Sapp, SCRYPTS has been informed that the deal will expire, so he will be a free agent.
The report notes that SCRYPTS will likely go by Sidney Akeem once he leaves WWE. He then plans to continue wrestling. Sapp writes that the WWE star expected his deal not to be renewed.
SCRYPTS has been featured as a member of OTM in NXT. He signed with the company in 2020 and was initially featured on the main roster as Reginald. He went on to win the WWE 24/7 Championship four times before he moved to NXT in November 2022, when he was repackaged as SCRYPTS.
