According to a new report, one of WWE‘s longest-running employees, Sue Aitchison, was shockingly released by the company yesterday.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, 2019 Warrior Award recipient, Sue Aitchison was let go by WWE on Friday.
Sue Aitchison was the Director of Community Relations for WWE and had been an employee of the company for over 38 years, starting back in 1986.
WWE’s relationship with Make-A-Wish can be directly attributed to Aitchison, who was honored by the organization in 2006 and 2016. Aitchison was also heavily involved in the company’s community outreach programs.
Johnson states that even though Aitchison’s responsibilities within the company have lessened in recent years, she was considered to be one of the company’s true mainstays. Her release truly signifies that WWE is in a new era.
