While The Lucha Bros are likely heading to WWE, it’s not a done deal just yet.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix had signed multi-year deals with WWE. But a new report states that isn’t actually the case.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), WWE sources have confirmed that The Lucha Bros have not yet signed with the company. With one WWE source stating they believe Rey Fenix is still under contract with All Elite Wrestling.
As of this writing, both Penta and Fenix remain on AEW’s official roster page. When Sapp reached out to both companies in an official capacity, no answers were given.
