New reports provide an update on WWE star Jade Cargill, who has been out of action since November.
Cargill was attacked backstage on the November 22nd episode of WWE SmackDown, and she has been absent ever since. There have been conflicting reports about the nature of her absence and whether she was legitimately injured.
Jon Alba of The Takedown on SI highlighted PWInsider‘s report that Jade Cargill has been at the WWE Performance Center training, and WWE believes that she will be back on TV ahead of WrestleMania 41. Alba also wrote that, per a WWE source, Cargill has been actively training, as she has been trying to get cleared as soon as possible. However, there is still no word on the nature of her injury.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful responded to the report and noted that it confirmed his past update that Cargill was not cleared. He wrote that while others have claimed that Cargill is not hurt, she’s on the internal injury list.
Due to her injury, Jade Cargill was replaced in her team with Bianca Belair. Belair and Naomi now hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
