Megan Bayne made her AEW Dynamite debut at AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, and a new report provides an update.
Bayne competed in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet match on Wednesday night. This marked her AEW Dynamite debut, though she previously wrestled in some dark matches and at an AEW Dark: Elevation taping in 2021. Bayne reportedly signed with the company in 2023, but it was later reported that she was not under contract. She continued to wrestle for STARDOM, and since she wrapped up there, she has remained active on the independent scene.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that, per AEW sources, Bayne has been signed to AEW for “quite some time”. This source that she had been under contract for the duration of her time away from the company. However, sources close to Bayne claimed that she had been a free agent at one point.
Sapp cites sources who said that Bayne is expected to remain on AEW television moving forward.
