A new report provides an update on Odyssey Jones after he was removed from WWE’s official roster page.
Jones last wrestled on the August 19 episode of WWE RAW. There, he and The New Day beat The Final Testament. However, his storyline with the New Day has seemingly been dropped. It was not mentioned on the September 2 episode of WWE RAW.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the situation. He stated that nothing was confirmed, but in asking around, he learned that Odyssey Jones’ removal from the roster was not a glitch. (H/t Ian Carey of F4WOnline.com)
Meltzer stated that he was “relatively certain” that Jones was done, but that had not been confirmed. He said that it looked like Jones was no longer with the company, as his angle was apparently done, and he was not mentioned whatsoever on the latest episode of WWE RAW.
Additionally, Meltzer noted that Jones was in line for a push, so the situation had nothing to do with how his on-screen run had been going. He stated that there was nothing he could otherwise confirm at this point.
Odyssey Jones was drafted to WWE RAW in both 2023 and 2024. He had just recently made his debut and aligned with the New Day.
