WWE is reportedly set to set the new EVOLVE show in February.
As previously reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, an NXT EVOLVE show was set to premiere in 2025, and the show, led by EVOLVE founder Gabe Sapolsky, would feature NXT developmental wrestlers. Mike Johnson of PWInsider also reported that an EVOLVE revival had been rumored by talent on the independent scene. WWE then trademarked “EVOLVE” on January 30th.
Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net reports that WWE will indeed start EVOLVE again. Tapings are set for February 7th at the WWE Performance Center. It is not known what talent will be working the show. As of this writing, WWE has yet to confirm the news. Further details are unclear at this time.
Sapolsky ran EVOLVE from 2010-2020, when WWE purchased the company. He now works for WWE, and he is reportedly involved with the WWE ID program.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
