WWE still hasn’t announced the location of WrestleMania 41, and there might be a good reason for that.
The WWE Universe is used to the location of next year’s WrestleMania to be announced no later than this year’s event. But WrestleMania came and went with no announcement for next year’s Showcase of the Immortals.
In an update from Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), despite the fact that multiple people in Minnesota’s government are hopeful that WrestleMania 41 will be announced soon, nothing is official. There are some in WWE who are pushing for next year’s event to occur in Las Vegas instead.
Nick Khan recently said that he doesn’t want WrestleMania going head-to-head with the NCAA Final Four in the future. This led to speculation that WWE’s biggest event of the year could return to March, where several WrestleMania’s have taken place.
However, there have also been discussions of moving the Showcase of the Immortals to May. This would be a first for WWE and would significantly alter their yearly PLE calendar.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on the location of WrestleMania 41 as it becomes available.
