Report: WWE NXT In Talks With AAA Owner

Collaboration between WWE NXT and AAA could be in the works, according to a new report.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that AAA owner Dorian Roldan has been talking with NXT. Further details were not provided, but Meltzer noted that CMLL may be WWE’s preferred partner in Mexico. However, this would be unlikely due to CMLL working with AEW and NJPW.

This update comes after Lucha Libre Online recently reported that WWE was looking to establish alliances or working agreements with companies in Puerto Rico and Mexico.

WWE has already been working with other companies recently, as seen with their crossovers with TNA, Marigold, and NOAH.
