According to a new report, WWE reportedly has plans to use John Cena, The Undertaker, and Steve Austin at WrestleMania 40.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that “the belief right now” is that John Cena, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and The Undertaker will “have something” in some capacity at WrestleMania. Meltzer noted that nothing is official. He stated that no creative is locked in for Cena or Austin, unless it’s a well-guarded secret. The report notes that a lot of the situation depends on how much they are willing to do and the money.
Meltzer writes that Cena’s acting schedule looms large on the situation. Previously, Cena has said that he is free the night of WrestleMania Saturday. However, his future acting commitments would determine how much he can do, due to the insurance. On the other hand, Austin and The Undertaker would have the final say on how much they were willing to do. (H/t Joseph Currier of F4WOnline)
Steve Austin recently discussed potentially wrestling again. Check out his comments here.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
