Manchester United left-back was spotted limping heavily as he left Kenilworth Road following our 2-1 win over Luton Town on Sunday afternoon.
There were doubts about Shaw’s fitness prior to the game, but the England international passed fit in what appeared to be a major boost for Erik ten Hag’s side.
However, much like the game against Aston Villa last weekend, Shaw didn’t last long enough to take to the field for the second half in United’s latest win in a momentum boosting unbeaten run.
Manager Erik ten Hag told reporters on Thursday that Shaw was a doubt, but that there was a slight chance that he would feature. The questions now will be whether he was rushed back to face the Hatters.
Shaw was replaced in the closing stages of the first half today by Victor Lindelof and it spells further doubt about his injury record this season.
It didn’t look like the left-back was in much discomfort as he made his way towards the tunnel, although Press Association journalist Simon Peach has given a worrying update on Shaw’s fitness.

Shaw left the stadium limping which means this could be a setback that keeps him out of the team for the upcoming matches. Hopefully not.
