The Republican National Convention drew an estimated 14.81 million viewers on its second night, a drop from the second night in 2020, according to Nielsen.

One of the highlights of the night was a speech by Lara Trump, Donald Trump’s daughter in law.

About 19.42 million watched the second night of the RNC in 2020, when much of the event was virtual due to the Covid pandemic. The convention drew about 19.76 million in 2016.

The figures are of 11 networks that aired the proceedings from 10 p.m. ET to 11:15 p.m. ET.

Tuesday night’s viewership was a drop from the first night, when 18.13 million watched.

More to come.
