AI will measure content quality and user engagement on web3 social platform.
Web3 social networking project RepubliK announced today the launch of its first SocialFi platform powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) built in partnership with AWS AI. Following this launch, the firm now sets its sights on layer 2 adoption and multi-chain transition in Q2 this year.
As noted in the press release, RepubliK’s platform uses AI tools to evaluate content quality and user engagement, ensuring fair creator rewards. Specifically, it uses AI to understand what kind of content leads to meaningful interactions instead of solely focusing on the most popular content. By prioritizing quality over quantity, RepubliK intends to offer a superior user experience that rewards genuine and impactful engagement.
“Aside from the use of AI for content recommendations, RepubliK’s approach focuses on evaluating the depth and quality of user interactions, enabling it to assess the depth of interactions to determine the quality of the content,” RepubliK noted.
AI will also be incorporated into the reward system to ensure creators are compensated based on the true value of their contributions. RepubliK aims to build an ecosystem that encourages high-quality content creation and fosters authentic community interactions.
RepubliK further revealed plans to adopt a layer 2 solution to facilitate more efficient transactions and shift toward a multi-chain infrastructure, making RepubliK compatible with multiple blockchains. These key improvements, expected to be operational in two months, will streamline transactions and support the platform’s expanding user base.
Despite facing challenges such as scalability, regulatory hurdles, and the need for user education, the outlook for SocialFi remains optimistic. Developers continue to push the boundaries, seeking new ways to reshape online interactions and offer users a more decentralized, secure, and rewarding social media experience.
