Resurfaced Video Shows Bow Wow Discussing Domestic Incident With Kiyomi Leslie
For context, both Bow Wow (aka Shad Moss) and Kiyomi Leslie, formerly Leslie Holden, got arrested after the physical altercation. Kiyomi accused Moss of being violent, but he claimed she was the one who went “ballistic.” They were both charged with battery and released on an $8,000 bond.
In the viral 2019 clip Kollege Kidd shared, Moss says Kiyomi snatched his lamp and hit him with it. While talking to an officer, he denied doing anything to her, pointing to his face and telling the officer Kiyomi was the one wildin’. “And I got witnesses all over the house. She took the thing off and went BOW!” the rapper says in the clip.
Also, the ‘Lottery Ticket’ actor said he begged Kiyomi to bounce, but she wasn’t having it. “I said you gotta leave, and she said I ain’t going no f*****g where.” He added that he told her, “No, you’re gonna leave my house now.” Bow also told the officer he didn’t even peep his face until later. When he did, he saw scratches all over and thought he looked crazy.
Shad Moss Speaks Out After Incident & Declares His Innocence
Back in 2019, PEOPLE reported Bow Wow speaking on getting arrested for allegedly assaulting Kiyomi. He had his lawyer drop a statement saying they wrongfully arrested him.
“Shad Bow Wow Moss was wrongfully arrested earlier this morning for the first time after being beaten by an out of control intoxicated female, Ms. Leslie Holden, in an Atlanta condominium,” Bow’s lawyer explained.
Kiyomi Reacts To The Altercation Three Years Later
Kiyomi Leslie came back to the viral incident three years later during an interview on Angela Yee’s ‘Lip Service.’ In the convo, Lesie said all of her exes wanted her, and if things worked out with Bow, they’d still be together, per HotNewHipHop. “Yeah. If we ain’t go to jail, we still would’ve been here, I’m sure.”
“That’s what I learned. I mean I don’t want to promote that to women, but I just—that’s what it was for me, because I went to jail and I called them for help, Kiyomi explained.
