Rey Mysterio highlights the impact that modern medicine has had on his career.
WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, 49, remains active. He has dealt with various injuries, but he has credited stem cell therapy for helping his body heal.
Speaking with Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely at ComplexCon, Mysterio was asked about getting stem cell therapy and how it has helped him.
“Incredible,” Mysterio said. “Thanks to stem cells and modern medicine, all the little gadgets that are out there, like cold plunge, infrared sauna, all those things have played a big factor in me being able to continue still. Obviously, stem cells is the majority factor, and that has kind of slowed down the time for me. So I’m aging a little bit slower than normal.”
