One of the biggest heels in the current era of WWE is Dominik Mysterio. He is always greeted with thunderous boos from the live crowd at any show he is in. Recently, his father, Rey Mysterio shared what his daughter Aalyah thinks about Dominik’s character as a heel.

While speaking to Graham Matthews for Bleacher Report, the WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio revealed that Aalyah still calls Dirty Dom a ‘d-bag’ and believes that Dominik Mysterio takes his heel gimmick a little too seriously.

“She still says he’s still a d-bag and he’s always been that way. Sometimes she’ll say, ‘Dom takes his role too seriously. He thinks the same character that he’s on TV he has to be at home. I’m just going to slap him.’

“You do what you got to do. Dom has always been that way around the house. Always spontaneous with his remarks, very gritty, but overall, he gets a lot of that from my wife because my wife is like that as well,” Rey Mysterio said.

Rey Mysterio says Eddie Guerrero will be proud of Dominik Mysterio

Recently, the Master of the 6-1-9 spoke on SHAK Wrestling about the astounding resemblance between his son and Eddie Guerrero.

“I have to say this, and my wife is gonna kill me, but I’ve told her several times, ‘Did you ever cheat on me with Eddie?’ Because, Dom, I don’t know. She goes, ‘Yeah,’ and I never told you. I said, ‘No, no!’. I truly believe that Eddie is getting a kick out of this and, to a certain degree, Eddie has been in Dominik’s corner from the beginning.

“It’s very special and sentimental to see my son’s growth and to see every now and then a little bit of Eddie in his character, his development, and the way he carries himself. There’s a lot of pride when I see him, and it reminds me so much of moments I lived with Eddie myself. Just watching him work—there’s no comparison, I’m just talking about little snippets and stuff he does that is just so Eddie-like. It could be as simple as the mullet. Sometimes, when I see pictures of him, it’s just like, ‘Wow, it’s just scary,’” Rey Mysterio said.
