WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio says it will be time to walk away when he doesn’t get that “jittery feeling” anymore.

Speaking on JAXXON PODCAST, WWE WrestleMania 40 came up in the conversation, and Rey Mysterio was asked why The Rock would come back, given his success in Hollywood.

“It’s that passion, man. There’s nothing like that high of being inside a ring in front of, I mean, we just had WrestleMania, 75,000 people,” Rey Mysterio said. “It’s just such an incredible high. I don’t think there’s a drug out there that makes you feel the way that makes you feel.”

Rey Mysterio was then asked whether he still gets nervous. He stated that he still gets that “jittery feeling” before every show, and the day that’s no longer the case, it’s time to walk away.

“Every f*cking night. Even when it’s non-televised, I still get that jittery feeling like, ‘Shit. I don’t want to f*ck up. I want to make sure everything comes out right.’ I always tell myself that the day I no longer feel that, that’s the time to tap out, bounce.”

“Every time I have to step in the ring, I still feel that nerves. It starts up very light, and it just kind of builds up, especially for moments like WrestleMania. It’s crazy.”
