Rey Mysterio comments on his potential retirement.

Rey Mysterio, 49, remains active following his WWE Hall of Fame induction in 2023. He has not wrestled on WWE television since July. However, he has since competed at live events and in a dark match.

Speaking with Busted Open at Fanatics Fest NYC, Rey Mysterio was asked about what was left for him to do.

“I think what’s left is to be able to plan a nice sunset and be able to thank everyone that has followed and supported me throughout the years and give them, when the time is right, a good farewell,” Rey Mysterio said. “Not something that I’ll happen one time and then come back and do it again. Maybe even a farewell tour, I don’t know. But something that can mean something to me and to everyone that will be there, whether it’s in every city or in a country, this is the last time we will be together.

Mysterio also expressed his gratitude for his journey snd his ability to connect with his opponents.
