RFK Jr.’s personal life has been making endless headlines — including a sexting scandal and possible affairs, which he’s denied — but we hear it isn’t shaking his resolve to stay in politics.

“He knew it was going to be messy,” says a source. “He was kind of prepared for it. For all the scandal. He is committed to this fight and believes in what he is saying. He thinks he is doing God’s work and out there fighting. No matter what happens he will continue doing it.”

A source tells us that the descendant of his family’s Democratic dynasty has lost longtime friends after deciding to endorse Donald Trump in August.

“He has been ridiculed and lied about,” the source claims. “But he thinks this is part of what his Kennedy mission in life is to be. He is determined to follow through… He wanted to get his ideas out there. He believes in Trump.”

Following the endorsement, multiple members of his own family including Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, Courtney Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Chris Kennedy and Rory Kennedy released a statement denouncing the move.

“We want an America filled with hope and bound together by a shared vision of a brighter future, a future defined by individual freedom, economic promise and national pride,” said the statement.

“We believe in Harris and Walz. Our brother Bobby’s decision to endorse Trump today is a betrayal of the values that our father and our family hold most dear. It is a sad ending to a sad story.”

They had previously also rejected his bid as a third party candidate, saying, “Bobby might share the same name as our father, but he does not share the same values, vision or judgment. Today’s announcement is deeply saddening for us. We denounce his candidacy and believe it to be perilous for our country.”

Kennedy has recently been in the news over a romantic textual affair with New York Magazine star writer Olivia Nuzzi, whom he met after she profiled him for a piece.

Sources told Page Six his wife, “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actress Cheryl Hines, was “fuming,” and thinking of pulling the plug.

Hines, a lifelong Democrat, has also been upset about his new ties to the Trump campaign.

Kennedy himself has said Hines did not approve his backing of Trump, telling TMZ, “I would say, her trepidation about this and her discomfort with this were the dominant feelings.”
