Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio have become a WWE power couple, with the duo’s on-screen chemistry as part of The Judgment Day leading to one of the most popular storylines in the company. Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio aren’t dating in real-life. Their relationship is just part of a WWE storyline, meaning that they aren’t boyfriend and girlfriend in reality. In actuality, both are married and are husband and wife to different partners who aren’t in the WWE.
Ripley is married to Buddy Matthews, an AEW wrestler who previously performed with the WWE with the Buddy Murphy. Mysterio is married to Marie Juliette, who doesn’t work in the wrestling business. Both couples have been married since 2024.
When did Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio’s ‘relationship’ begin?
Ripley and Mysterio’s on-screen relationship began back in 2022, after Mysterio turned heel and joined The Judgment Day amid the faction’s feud with his father, Rey Mysterio.
Prior to this, Ripley was known for beating Dom up as The Judgment Day targeted the Mysterio’s, who were working as a tag-team at the time. In July 2022, Ripley first attacked Dominik, and in August the pair came face-to-face in the ring with Dom wielding a kendo stick in front of the Australian.
However, after Dom’s heel turn, the pair became inseparable on-screen. While the duo haven’t made their romance “official” during WWE programming — there’s yet to be an on-screen kiss, though there has been a face-lick — Dom and his “Mami” have quickly become two of WWE’s most must-watch Superstars.
Currently, the pair’s relationship has been under threat by Liv Morgan, whose persistent meddling with The Judgment Day — which could also see the return of Roman Reigns.
