Rhea Ripley made a surprise appearance on WWE SmackDown as tensions continued to rise heading into WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
On the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, Bayley and Naomi faced Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae. WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax interfered and attacked Naomi and Bayley. Jax, Stratton, and LeRae ganged up on Bayley and Naomi. IYO SKY tried to make the save, but she was outnumbered.
SKY kept fighting, but Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan blindsided her. Rhea Ripley then ran in with a kendo stick and fought off Morgan and the others. Ripley stood tall, but her team was in rough shape.
Earlier in the show, Jade Cargill was found attacked backstage, and she was taken out in an ambulance. Cargill, Belair, SKY, Naomi, and Ripley are set to face Jax, Morgan, Rodriguez, Stratton, and LeRae in a WarGames Match at WWE Survivor Series.
Ripley, wearing a protective mask, returned to WWE programming on the November 18 episode of WWE RAW. She issued the challenge for a Women’s WarGames Match, but she is still recovering from a fractured right orbital socket, which was reportedly legitimate.
