At the Network Premiere of WWE NXT on the CW Network, a vignette was played teasing the arrival of a new Superstar. The WWE Universe was quick to decode that the star in question is one of the rising stars in the land from Down Under, DELTA.

Recently, fellow Australian and former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and her Terror Twin Damian Priest shared their thoughts on the Australian wrestler. While speaking during a live signing at Fanatics Live via UpUpDownDown, Rhea Ripley mentioned that she is excited for DELTA to come to WWE.

“I am (excited for DELTA to come to WWE). I feel she’s got a lot of potential, I can’t wait to see her finally debut. I’m very excited to see her. I just hope that she sticks to what she believes for herself. That’s what I want for her,” Ripley said [H/T POST Wrestling].

Priest was also a part of the signing and mentioned that he had met DELTA at the WWE Performance Center and that she’s a very nice and cool person.

“I actually recently met her. I went to the P.C. and she’s very cool,” Priest said. “A bunch of you guys trained at the same place… But DELTA was very nice and yeah, she has a huge upside.”

The Eradicator then mentioned that if there is one wrestler that she wants to face from NXT then it would also be DELTA.

“I mean, I feel like I have to say DELTA (is who I want to face from NXT). I haven’t stepped in the ring with her and she came after my time in Australia so, I think it’d be cool to meet up in NXT,” Rhea Ripley said.

Jessica Troy on DELTA

Last week, NXT fans saw the first teaser for “The Adelaide Powerhouse” DELTA. Before moving to the United States to join the NXT brand, DELTA completed a tour of dates in her home country of Australia. One of those dates saw her vie for the PWA Heavyweight title at Pro-Wrestling Australia’s King of the Metro event against Jessica Troy, also known as “The Arm Collector.”

WrestleZone’s Ella Jay spoke with Troy about what NXT fans can expect to see from the former RCW Grand Champion once she officially arrives.

“I would describe [DELTA] as the coolest person you’ve ever seen,” Troy said. “Just think of a cool person and then that’s what she is. She’s jacked. She has this sick makeup and amazing gear. She just has that presence when she gets out into the ring, she’s kind of understands who she is. And you can tell because she seems so comfortable within her skin when she’s in the ring. That really portrays through her wrestling as well. She just exudes confidence.”
