Rhea Ripley does not like social media, but admits it does have some uses.

The WWE Women’s World Champion is one of the most popular women online, with clips of her regularly going viral.

A recent video of her giving Nia Jax a stinkface at a WWE Live Event received thousands of views, although she recently admitted social media is something she hates.

Rhea Ripley recently appeared on Logan Paul‘s ImPaulsive podcast. Here, she revealed why she hates social media, although admits it is a great tool for wrestlers to use in this day and age.

“To be honest, I don’t really think about it too much. To be completely honest. I hate social media. I’m sorry. I’m someone that is so against social media but its such a great platform for what we do, so we need it. So when I’m home, I try to relax and Matt (AEW’s Buddy Matthews) has got me used to coming home and sort of turning my work brain off a little bit, so I can actually relax.”

“I went through a whole stage when I first came here where I couldn’t turn off. It was always ‘work, work, work’, and I was never relaxing and the years were going by so quickly. So he helps me relax. Every now and then I go on social media and I check it out. I like seeing all the fan’s stuff, and sharing it, reposting it.”

“When it comes to my posts, I’ll just find a photo every now and then. My brain’s like, it works in a weird way where I can think of the cheekiest PG, but not PG, things to post. Its the first thing that pops into my head, and I’m like ‘yep, sick!’. Its something that connects well with my audience.”
