Rhea Ripley has put in tremendous effort to rise as one of the top female Superstars in WWE, which has been more evident after she joined The Judgment Day back in 2022. She has now revealed the initial reason behind her joining the faction.
Rhea Ripley would end up joining Damian Priest and Edge back in 2022 and became the first members of The Judgment Day. Finn Balor then joined Judgement Day and they kicked out Adam Copeland from the faction.
Afterwards, Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor turned on Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam, leading to Balor debuting his new version of the Judgment Day on the August 5 episode of WWE Raw.
While speaking to Ring the Belle, Rhea Ripley revealed that she initially joined The Judgment Day because she felt she was becoming a softer and weaker version of herself. She wanted to regain her edge and strength, aiming to assert dominance in the women’s division and reclaim her top spot.
“I decided to join the Judgment Day because I felt myself becoming a softer, weaker version of who I wanted to be. I didn’t like that feeling, so I wanted to become a killer again. I wanted to go out there and claim what was rightfully mine in the women’s division: being on top.”
Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest would defeat Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan at Bash in Berlin but their feud with The Judgment Day is far from over, so we’ll have to see how the storyline will progress as we head towards Bad Blood.
