Rhea Ripley is set to be Elimination Chamber 2024’s headliner. She not only appears prominently as the cover star on the event poster, but she also takes center stage in all promotional efforts for the event in Australia. She is gearing up for a monumental showdown at Elimination Chamber, where she will defend her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax.

On Saturday Morning, Ripley will look to assert her dominance in the ring and defend her title against Jax. The match will be played out on the home ground for both women, as they were both born in Australia, but Ripley’s pride in her roots will have the audience cheering her on.

While speaking to The West Sport, Ripley expressed her excitement for the event, dubbing it her “WrestleMania before WrestleMania.” She added that she’s happy to be home and it makes her very proud to be the face of the PLE. The bout holds special significance for Ripley as she sees it as the pinnacle of her wrestling career, especially given the opportunity to fight in her native country of Australia.

“I’m glad that I had the sunnies. Because my eyes were getting a bit teary and I’m just happy to be home. I really am and I’m so happy that we get to bring a PLE to Australia. Not just any PLE, we get to bring Elimination Chamber. We’re on the road to WrestleMania and one of the stops there is here in Australia, here in Perth, here at Optus Stadium and it’s such a special event, it really is.

To be the face of the PLE as well, to be on the poster, to have Motionless in White as the theme song, made for Rhea Ripley, so it makes me very, very proud and it just makes me look back at my career and it makes me look at everything that I’ve gone through and it’s all built up to this moment. This is my WrestleMania before WrestleMania.”

With emotions running high, Ripley expressed her thanks for the love and support she has gotten during her career, noting that this moment represents all of her hard work and devotion to the sport. Ripley’s appearance at a WWE press event earlier only proved her drive to win as she got into a heated argument with challenger Nia Jax, dousing her with Prime before hurling the bottle at the her head.

It remains to be seen how the story unfolds at WWE Elimination Chamber and if Ripley manages to win it all. Ripley’s fans are surely rooting for her to prove her skills in her home ground. Stay tuned to Ringside News for more!
