RHI:One person who hasn’t given me money is Dangote, If he wants me to ask, N5bn is fine—Remi Tinubu

First Lady of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu has shared details about the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) social investment programme. When asked about her source for funding, she revealed that the board of trustees for RHI includes BUA, Prince Arthur Eze and other notable figures who have contributed significantly

In a video recently shared on YouTube by NTA, Remi pointed out that Alike Dangote has not yet donated. She humorously added that although Dangote told her to ask for funds, she prefers that he decides on his own what to give. She said asking for too much might not be appropriate, but it Dangote insists, a donation of five billion naira would be appreciated.

In Remi Tinubu’s words: “One person who hasn’t given me money is Dangote, he said I should ask; I don’t ask, God has to tell you what to give because if I ask now I will be asking too much but if he wants me to ask, 5 billion naira is fine. So I am asking publicly so that people will know. Otedola has given his 1 billion naira, BUA gave 1 billion naira”.
