Garcelle Beauvais is one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and at Bravo FanFest: Miami spilled all the tea on the latest season.

The actress and producer updated us on her friendship with Dorit Kemsley, whom she had not been getting along with after some unfortunate comments last season.

In a recent episode of the RHOBH: After Show, Kemsley said no one from the cast, except Erika Jayne and Kyle Richards, reached out to her after she announced she was getting separated from her husband.

“We weren’t in a good place after we finished the the reunion, so it would have felt very hypocritical,” Beauvais explained to Deadline. “I felt for her, and I said so in when I was interviewed on red carpets, but it would have felt hypocritical if I reached out to her, because we weren’t in a good space.”

Beauvais says that she and Kemsley “had a few little bumps” throughout Season 14 “but we got to a better place,” adding, “It’s really hard to tell you [as] the season is new. I don’t know what’s being said, whether online [or] offline, so hopefully one day we can resolve it and be friends.”

Another friendship Beauvais has worked on since joining the cast is the one with Richards.

“We definitely text each other and check in on each other, but we got to a better place, which is what I wanted this season,” Beauvais said. “I felt like before, our relationship was only surface level. I think this season the audience will see that we dove a little deeper.”

Beauvais is not only a reality TV star—she is also a boss and an executive producer of movies at Lifetime, like Black Girl Missing. She says she wants to continue producing and putting projects together.

“I am open to what the universe is bringing to me, but I really love producing,” she said. “I’ve always loved doing diverse things, whether it’s a talk show host, writing books, reality [TV] or [being] an actor, but producing has been really something that I can sink my teeth in. I love putting projects together. I’m really digging that right now, so I hope to do more of it. I think that’s the beauty of the world now, that women can do things at all ages. You can’t put us in a box anymore.”

Ahead of the season premiere of RHOBH, we learned that one of Beauvais’ sons no longer wanted to film for the show, but she assures us viewers will still get to see her family life.

“You’re definitely going to get the family aspect. Oliver gives me a big surprise during the season. [As for the season], I really enjoyed it. I felt like we got back to what Beverly Hills was about relationships and friendships. I think that’s the beauty of the show,” Beauvais explained.
