Two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is always known to create headlines one way or the other, whether it’s because of something controversial or related to his health. In fact, Flair has revealed that he has been sick lately and has been taking a lot of antibiotics.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair shared a concerning update about his health, revealing that he has been taking antibiotics but admitted to washing them down with vodka, as he was not really sure about their effectiveness as he is dealing with sickness.
“I’ve been taking some antibiotics and washing them down with Vodka, so I don’t know if they are working.”
The Nature Boy did not stop there as he would go on to joke that he is trying to find a bar that will be open for him on Christmas this week, making it clear he can make light of any serious moment, even his own.
It is to be noted that Ric Flair’s health has been a longstanding concern for fans, as he has faced numerous medical challenges over the years. In 2017, he experienced a series of severe health issues, including a completely ruptured intestine, total kidney failure, and sepsis as his body battled an infection. These complications led to respiratory heart failure and pneumonia, putting him in critical condition at the time as he almost died.
As Flair jokes about finding a bar for the holidays, many fans are hopeful he will keep recovering and enjoy many more years of life. His health struggles just continue to remind people that he really needs to take better care of himself, especially at his age.
