Former WWE star Ricochet has arrived in AEW, and he already has an adversary.
Following Ricochet’s debut at AEW All In, Kyle Fletcher challenged him to a match on the following episode of AEW Dynamite. They then went back and forth on Twitter, leading Fletcher to note that Ricochet knew all about being “brief,” as he called him Mr. Speed.
Ricochet then responded to Fletcher. He questioned why being a champion was a bad thing, and he said that more people watched “those matches” than one of Fletcher’s. However, he said that he would change that for Fletcher.
Wait…why is being a CHAMPION a bad thing??
Plus, I hate to say it but more people watch those matches than one of yours. But don't worry, I'll change that for you. https://t.co/qFdiGNpbVx
Prior to his WWE departure, Ricochet was the inaugural WWE Speed Champion, and he held the title until Andrade dethroned him. WWE Speed is WWE’s X-exclusive show, where standard matches have three-minute time limits.
