Former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho has broken her silence to explain her latest absence from All Elite Wrestling programming.
Riho took to her Instagram Stories last night to reveal that she’s back in Japan to get her visa renewed. Due to this, she’s uncertain when she’ll return to All Elite Wrestling, posting:
“I am currently in Japan for renew my VISA. I don’t know when I will return to AEW. Please stay healthy and enjoy your life until then *heart hands emoji*,” Riho said in her Instagram Story.
Riho last competed on AEW Dynamite: Big Business on March 13, losing a match to Willow Nightingale.
This isn’t the first visa issue that All Elite Wrestling has run into. Several stars in recent years have disappeared from programming due to visa issues. Unfortunately, this continues to be a problem in the pro wrestling industry as a whole.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Riho’s status as it becomes available.
