Riho has been sidelined with an injury.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Riho returned to the AEW ring on the July 6 episode of AEW Collision. There, she defeated Lady Frost. However, Riho seemingly suffered an injury in the bout, as she landed hard on her arm during a dive to the outside.
In a post on Instagram, Riho revealed that she fractured her arm, and she said that she was doing very well. The post includes a picture in which Riho’s arm is in a sling.
Before July 6, Riho last competed in an AEW ring on the March 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, where she lost to Willow Nightingale.
As of this writing, there is no word on how long Riho will be out of action. WrestleZone wishes her well in her recovery, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
