Rikishi thinks Solo Sikoa is the man to dethrone Cody Rhodes.

The leader of the New Bloodline could be next in line to hold the WWE Championship. Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns during the Bloodline six-man tag team match at Crown Jewel, inflicting Reigns’s first defeat since WrestleMania 40.

The feud looks to continue until Survivor Series, with Sami Zayn rejoining the OG Bloodline. This is leading to a War Games match between the two factions. That could lead to Cody Rhodes vs Solo Sikoa, at least according to Rikishi.

Rikishi spoke on the Off The Top Podcast about Solo Sikoa and how he thinks he could be the man to take the WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes.

The WWE Hall of Fame noted how Solo beat Roman Reigns, which puts him in consideration as “The GOAT”. He added that he was the “GOAT Slayer” and that he could move on to Cody Rhodes once he’s done with the OG Bloodline.

“After beating Roman, I can kind of see Solo Sikoa being the one take it [The WWE Championship] off of Cody [Rhodes]. Because I talked about Roman [Reigns] coming back and maybe taking it off of Cody, you know? But after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. You beat the GOAT after two or three spikes. But now its like ‘Okay. You beat the GOAT, now you’re considered the GOAT.'” Rikishi said. “The GOAT Slayer.”

Rikishi: Having Cody Rhodes Turning on Roman Reigns Would Have Been Nice

While speaking on his Off The Top podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi shared that as much as he loves Cody Rhodes being a babyface, he would have loved to have seen him turn on Reigns.

“I almost feel like, man, I would have thought, and this is just my weird mind, I’m always thinking, when people go left, I go right, during that time, it damn sure would have been nice if Cody turned on Roman. You got two big babyfaces. Cody’s been that babyface since Roman’s been gone. Then to be able to come back together, you can almost. [Roman] puts out that aura, he puts out that vibe, you can almost feel coming through the TV how over this guy is. This was once a guy that people hated his guts, but as you can listen, man. You be got the champion, and you’ve got a guy that lost to the champion, making his [return], coming back to wrestle, and the building erupted.” [H/T Fightful.com]
