Ring of Honor is prepping itself for the upcoming pay-per-view, ROH Death Before Dishonor. The event is set to take place on the 26th of July in Arlington, Texas at the Esports Stadium. Ahead of the show, two major matches have been announced by Ring of Honor.

The first match is the Ring of Honor Women’s World Television Championship match. The match will be a one-on-one match between the champion, Billie Starkz, and the challenger, Red Velvet. The two had been feuding for several months. Their rivalry will end at Death Before Dishonor.

“FRIDAY, July 26th Arlington, TX | @EsportsStadium #ROHDBD http://ROHTIX.com #ROH Women’s World TV Title Billie Starkz (c) vs. Red Velvet Champion @BillieStarkz & challenger @Thee_Red_Velvet will clash for the title at #ROHDBD after months of continued back & forth!” ROH tweeted.

The other match that has been announced is for the ROH Women’s World Title match. The Champion, Athena, will defend her championship against Queen Aminata. A few weeks ago, Athena announced that she was injured and might be out for four to six months. But it seems like it was a ruse and she will be fine to defend her championship.

“If you are online and follow the ‘Dirty sheets’, you may have seen that I took a bad spill and um… yeah, its not great guys. I just really want you guys to hear this from me,” she explained.

“I could come out here and spit a whole bunch of medical mumbo jumbo, but I think what you all want to hear is how long, right? I ended up tearing a couple of ligaments in my ankle,” Athena said at the time. “Right now, it’s looking between four-to-six months.”
