Algerian striker Riyad Mahrez is starring in a series broadcast on Prime Video from this Friday.

Failing to shine on the football fields, Riyad Mahrez is currently making a name for himself on the small screen. From this Friday, we can see him on Prime Video with his very charming wife Taylor Ward.

The two lovebirds will be in the spotlight in a series, entitled “Married to The Game”. The concept is to follow the Wags (footballers’ wives) while their husbands ply their trade on the pitches of the Premier League. The filming was therefore carried out before the Algerian international left Manchester City for his current club Al Ahli (Saudi Pro League).

Mahrez consoled herself for the failed CAN

We will therefore not have the pleasure of seeing Ms. Mahrez complain about her current life in the Gulf. Recently, as a reminder, she spoke out about the difficulties she has in adapting to local culture.

Mahrez is free to do what he wants with his time, but the timing of this broadcast may not please the Algerians too much. The former Le Havre player is currently the target of harsh criticism from his compatriots after a completely failed CAN.

Other renowned players have also given their agreement to participate in this documentary such as the Italian Jorginho or the German Ilkay Gundogan.
