Unstable is not coming back for a third season. On Friday (October 11), Deadline announced that the comedy series starring Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe had been canceled after two seasons. Along with starring in the show, Rob, 60, and John Owen, 28, also co-created it alongside Victor Fresco and served as executive producers and writers. Keep reading to find out more…Unstable takes place in a biological research company, where a son with social problems is forced to work for the company founded by his father, an extremely eccentric and exotic man to save him from disaster. The show was first released in November 2023. Season 2, which was released in August, failed to break into the Netflix Top 10, meaning that it drew less than 1.4M views in its opening weekend and fewer than 1.3M views in its first full week. It’s also being reported that the show is being shopped around. Unstable‘s cancellation a month after it was announced that Rob‘s Fox series 9-1-1: Lone Star is ending after five seasons.
