Rob Van Dam doesn’t know any reason that would stop him from wrestling in AEW again.

The ECW legend has wrestled a handful of matches in the promotion so far. The last was in a four-way match on AEW Rampage back in April, although there has been no announcement of a return to the promotion since.

However, Rob Van Dam has since signed a Legends deal with the WWE. Many have assumed that this would prohibit him from working for any of the WWE’s competitors, although the former WWE Champion has dispelled any myths about that.

Rob Van Dam hosted a Q&A on his YouTube channel where he was asked if he was able to wrestle for AEW anymore. The user also asked if he would wrestle against Malakai Black, should he be able to continue with Tony Khan’s promotion.

He responded by complimenting Malakai Black, saying he loved his vibe and his style. Rob Van Dam added that he knew no reason why he couldn’t wrestle for AEW again.

“I really like that dude’s style and his vibe. I like the way he stands out as being different—you know, I’m a big fan of that. So, I don’t know, if I didn’t know any better, I would think he might have been inspired by RVD at one point.” Rob Van Dam said.

“I’m proud of him without even knowing him. It’d be awesome to work with him. Can I still wrestle in AEW? As far as I know, there’s no reason I can’t. If there is a reason, then I don’t know about it. I don’t know that it would be the best move for me right now, but at the same time—money talks. And that’s a great motivator when it comes to going to work.”
