Robert Pattinson And ‘Smile’ Director Parker Finn Partner On Remake Of Horror Pic ‘Possession’

Robert Pattison is continuing to build out his producing slate as he is on board to produce a remake of the 1981 horror movie Possession with Smile director Parker Finn on board to helm. Sources as of now Pattinson is only on board to produce not star.

The package just hit the market with several buyers vying for the rights. Finn will also pen the script. Pattinson is producing via his production company Icki Eneo Arlo as well as Vertigo Entertainment’s Roy Lee.

The original pic follows a woman who starts exhibiting increasingly disturbing behavior after asking her husband for a divorce. Suspicions of infidelity soon give way to something much more sinister.

Finn is repped by CAA, Grandview, and Jackoway Austen. Pattinson is repped by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment, and CurtisBrown Group. The Hollywood Reporter was the first to break the news.
