Roderick Strong has officially returned to the world of All Elite Wrestling, helping out his friend Adam Cole against MJF in the process.
During AEW Worlds End, Strong appeared during a match between Cole and MJF for the Diamond Dynamite Ring. Toward the end of the match, MJF appeared ready to use a chair against Cole, but Strong shocked the crowd by appearing. MJF tried to leave, but Kyle O’Reilly stopped it, and then Strong and Kyle teamed up for a high-low on MJF.
Cole ended up winning the match by hitting MJF with the ring itself, and when the match was over, Cole, Strong, O’Reilly, Mike Bennett, and Matt Taven all stood in the ring to celebrate the moment.
For Strong, it was the first time that he’s been in the ring since he lost to MJF at AEW Full Gear, but he was clearly ready to help out his friend tonight.
