After the match, Kyle O’Reilly made his on-air return. He appeared in the ring and applauded Strong for the win, but refused to accept a t-shirt as an invite into Undisputed Kingdom.

This is O’Reilly’s first on-air appearance since

Kyle O’Reilly is currently sidelined with a neck injury. He has not wrestled since losing an AEW Interim World Title #1 Contendership to Jon Moxley on June 8, 2022.

Strong recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about his own health, and O’Reilly’s. Strong said O’Reilly was doing great and believed he’ll be back sooner than later.

“He’s doing great,” Roderick Strong said. “I think it’s just a matter of getting in the right headspace and training and just building that confidence back up. But I think he’ll be back sooner than later. I mean, hopefully, before the summer. That’d be awesome.”
