Rodri, Manchester City midfielder, was voted best player in the world this Monday evening, fulfilling the dream of his coach Pep Guardiola. The Spanish technician commented enthusiastically on his player’s coronation this Tuesday in front of journalists.

This Monday, Rodri won the 2024 Ballon d’Or during the ceremony held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. The Spanish midfielder had the honor of receiving this prestigious distinction from the hands of legend George Weah. His manager at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, also congratulated him. The latter had expressed, last summer, his desire to see the winner of Euro 2024 with Spain and champion of England with the Skyblues receive this award.
