Rodrygo without filter on Mbappé

Carlo Ancelotti has suggested that Real Madrid do not need to sign Kylian Mbappé because they already have the six best players in world football, but Rodrygo disagrees.

The Whites won 4-0 against Girona, one of the La Liga title contenders, on Saturday in Spain, and Ancelotti said he was impressed by his side’s performance. Vinicius Junior was unleashed that night and the Brazilian is currently the best player on the planet, according to Ancelotti.

After Real’s resounding victory, the former AC Milan, Chelsea and PSG coach was asked about Mbappé’s possible summer transfer from Paris Saint-Germain. However, he was quick to rule out any idea of a transfer.

Will Kylian Mbappé join Real Madrid?

“You keep asking questions about a player who plays for another team“, Ancelotti said in his post-match press conference. “ We already have the best players in the world here. In order: Vini Jr first, (Jude) Bellingham second, Rodrygo third. Then (Toni) Kroos, (Federico) Valverde, (Eduardo) Camavinga“.

While Ancelotti has sought to rule out any rumors of a Mbappé transfer when his contract with PSG expires this season, Rodrygo was keen to express his desire to see the Frenchman join the team.

Rodrygo is not afraid of Mbappé

The Brazil international is apparently the current Real Madrid player most likely to lose his place in the starting XI if the French virtuoso arrives, but Rodrygo wants to see the PSG star join this summer anyway.

After the 4-0 win over Girona, he told reporters: “ I would like Mbappé to come. I always want to play with the best players and he is one of the best in the world. I can’t talk much about him. He’s a PSG player and I have to respect him. »

Mbappé has scored 20 goals and provided four assists in 19 Ligue 1 matches since the start of the season, and although the Frenchman is a direct threat to Rodrygo’s place in Real Madrid’s starting XI, the Brazilian clearly wants that he joins the club.
