Reesa Teesa Responds
Teesa appeared to catch wind of the social media sentiments. Over the weekend, she took to TikTok to upload a new video and set the record straight.
“The stories about the amount of money that I’ve made on TikTok with this whole ‘Who The F**k Did I Marry’ series is wildly inaccurate, and I’m gonna tell you guys why,” she explained. “So, when I started this series, I was not yet in their creator fund. I didn’t get approved for it until, like, midway into the series, right? So, all the videos I did beforehand weren’t even counted for the creator fund and it’s only counted based out of the eligible views. So if you do the math, it’s not that much.”
The viral TikToker went on to explain that she’s actually been “suspended” from TikTok’s creator fund.
“But here’s the kicker. Guess who got suspended out of the creator fund,” she continued. “I got suspended because I had multiple violations because I had reuploaded some of the videos in the series, and you can’t do that. For the next thirty days, I am not making any money from the videos. I am merely making these videos from the heart…”
However, Teesa explained that she wouldn’t let the tribulation stop her.
“But, the good news is, in my mind, I have an idea for a series of videos,” she said. “It will not be 50 parts, but just something I can document and talk to you guys about and again upload it all at once. I was going to do it sooner rather than later, but now that I’m suspended, I’ma just wait out my 30 days.”
Before concluding on the matter, Teesa made one thing clear.
“So to the people who think I’ve made $80,000, $100,000, $300,000… I am so sorry to disappoint you, but the actual number is nowhere near,” she explained. “I am not quitting my day job.”
Alleged Ex-Husband Of “Who TF Did I Marry” Has Also Been Vocal
As the week continued, Teesa returned to the platform to share that not only had she been verified on TikTok, but her access to the creator fund had been restored.
Meanwhile, a man who says he’s her alleged ex-husband, “Legion,” has also been trying to cash in on some good luck of his own. As The Shade Room previously reported, after Teesa went viral, the man took to TikTok to deny her claims.
Furthermore, the man’s day job is considering legal action against Teesa for her story’s alleged impact on their business.
