A controversial evening for Gianluca Mancini. Sole scorer for La Louve during the Rome derby against Lazio (1-0) on the 31st day of Serie A, the Italian defender allowed his team to come back to within 3 points of the top 4. However, his celebration after the whistle could cost him dearly. For having waved a flag in Italian colors flocked with a rat, the native of Pontedera finds himself in the crosshairs of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).

“I was informed that a procedure by the Italian Federation Prosecutor had been opened and that all the information was being checked”, expressed Gabriele Gravina, president of the FIGC. Note that according to article 4 of the Sports Justice Code of the transalpine body, it is strictly prohibited for a player to attack the symbols of another club under penalty of sanctions which can range from a simple fine to a suspension, as relayed by Sky Sports Italy.
