Cristiano Ronaldo has become the YouTuber to reach 10 million subscribers the fastest in the history of the video platform.

Cristiano Ronaldo may soon be forty, but he never tires of breaking records. And not just on the football pitch! The Portuguese superstar, who launched his YouTube channel, “UR Cristiano”, on Wednesday on the famous video platform, is already making an unprecedented splash.

Just twelve hours after his channel went live, which also features scenes involving his partner Georgina, CR7 had already reached 10 million subscribers. This is obviously a first. It has never taken anyone so little time to reach this impressive mark.

Stronger than Mr Beast!

Mr Beast, the number one YouTuber on the planet, needed 132 days to reach 10 million, and he now has 311 million. At the time of writing, barely 24 hours after its launch, the counter displays more than 17 million followers.

His most watched video so far is the one in which Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina play a game to see how well they know each other. It has recorded more than 11 million views in less than a day. Behind it is a video called “When I met the most famous Cristiano”, in which the former Sporting Portugal, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus Turin striker goes to London, to Madame Tussaud’s (the English equivalent of the Grevin museum) to pose with his wax double.
