Still annoyed by Saudi supporters chanting the name of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo made a gesture that was strange to say the least.

This Sunday, Cristiano Ronaldo was once again involved in the success of his Al-Nassr team against Al Shabab (2-3, 21st day of the Saudi Pro League). But if he knows how to get noticed in particular by opening the score from the penalty spot, the Portuguese was also caught twice by the patrol following gestures that some have already described as obscene. Videos quickly circulated on social networks.

First there was this moment when his teammate Anderson Talisca, author of a double during the match, scored. The five-time Lusitanian Ballon d’Or repeated Diego Simeone’s gesture by mimicking an equivocal gesture at the level of his genitals. Then at the end of the meeting, he did it again. But this time because he was visibly burned by the fact that Al-Shabab supporters were chanting the name of his eternal rival: Lionel Messi.

League investigation?

If the Argentinian did not want to play in Saudi Arabia after his departure from PSG, preferring to fly to MLS and Inter Miami, Saudi supporters still have fun shouting his name to annoy Cristiano Ronaldo. Initially, the latter just expressed his incomprehension of this phenomenon. Today, he tolerates it more and more difficult and his reaction on Sunday proved it again.

While these famous “Messi, Messi” resonated, CR7 mimed a gesture considered obscene, without anyone clearly understanding its meaning. In any case, the Portuguese could now be in the sights of the Saudi Football League which should open an investigation into this gesture. In 2019, while he was playing at Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo was fined 20,000 euros by UEFA, following his action, like Diego Simeone.
