New controversy for Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia: the five-time Ballon d’Or celebrated an Al-Nassr goal by making a gesture which earned him a fine from UEFA in 2019!

Cristiano Ronaldo is left with a new controversy in Saudi Arabia. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner created quite a scandal three weeks ago by rubbing his crotch with an Al-Hilal jersey after a defeat by Al-Nassr (2-0). This Sunday, the former Real Madrid star player made an obscene gesture during his team’s victory against Al Shabab in the Saudi Pro League (2-3).

“CR7” first opened the scoring from the penalty spot (21st), to score his 4th goal of the year. The 39-year-old striker is in an XXL series, he has now scored in nine matches in a row (six league matches, two Asian Champions League matches and one King Cup match).

But the meeting was lively against Al Shabab of Romain Saïss, Ivan Rakitic, Yannick Ferreira Carrasco and Habib Diallo. Carrasco (45th+8) and Carlos Junior (67th) equalized twice and it was Anderson Talisca who won Al-Nassr. On one of the Brazilian’s goals, Cristiano Ronaldo resumed the celebration of Diego Simeone touching his genitals. In 2019, then at Juventus, the Portuguese had already celebrated a goal in this way in the Champions League and had received a fine of 20,000 euros from UEFA…

Carried by its stars, Al-Nassr, second in the ranking of the Saudi championship, comes back four lengths from Al-Hilal, which plays its match of the 21st day Monday evening against Al-Ettifaq, the 8th. Al Shabab is 11th.
