Former teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United, Louis Saha has made a revelation about the future of the Portuguese star.

Having gone into exile in Saudi Arabia a year and a half ago, Cristiano Ronaldo has only one year left on his contract with the Al-Nassr club. While an extension is being discussed, with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner hoping to continue his playing career at least until the 2026 World Cup, the 39-year-old Portuguese striker has never been so close to hanging up his boots.

For TVSporten, Louis Saha, who knows CR7 well having worked alongside him at Manchester United, spoke about his former teammate’s post-football career. Cristiano Ronaldo has the passion and the will to return to Manchester United one day. It could be as a coach or even manager”confided the former French international.

Saha on Ronaldo: “I don’t see why he wouldn’t succeed”

He knows now that he will have to find a new way of communicating when he becomes a coach. He will know how to find a new way of communicating when he is a coach, which may not be as harsh or direct as when he was at the club. He will look for how to succeed and use all his knowledge to achieve it.”added Louis Saha.

And to conclude: ” Cristiano will understand what he has to do as a manager. I don’t see why he wouldn’t succeed.” As a reminder, Cristiano Ronaldo revealed himself to the world with the Red Devils between 2003 and 2009. And after experiences at Real Madrid and Juventus Turin, he returned to Old Trafford in 2021. A second stint that turned into a fiasco.
