Ronda Rousey had departed WWE after her SummerSlam match against Shayna Baszler the previous year. She would then compete in other promotions before seemingly putting her wrestling career on hiatus. During her hiatus, she has now been confirmed for a wrestling event during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
At Pro Wrestling Revolver’s Unreal event last year, Ronda Rousey and Marina Shafir teamed up against Athena and Billie Starkz in tag team match. However, that wasn’t her only appearance, as she also made her debut in ROH shortly afterwards.
Ronda Rousey was present backstage at the AEW/ROH television tapings held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California back in November. Later that same evening, The Baddest Woman on the Planet her in-ring debut for Ring of Honor, as she teamed up with her friend Marina Shafir to face Athena and Billie Starkz. That would end up being her last match in a while.
WrestleCon’s official Twitter page took to the social media site and announced that Ronda Rousey will be making her appearance at the event during WrestleMania 40 weekend.

”In addition to signed copies of her new memoir, she will be available for pro photos, at the table photos, and autographs on personal items. For those not able to attend, there will be mail order options through @Highspots”
As previously reported, Ronda Rousey’s ROH appearance was one-off and she didn’t sign any contract with Tony Khan. She also explained why she didn’t want to sign with AEW. Nonetheless, fans will be happy to see her at WrestleCon and that is what matters to her right now.
