Roony Bardghji admits it is ‘fun’ to think about a move to the Premier League and says it ‘could happen’ amid links to Manchester United and Tottenham.

The FC Copenhagen wonderkid has enjoyed an excellent first half of the season, netting seven times in 17 league appearances.

United’s new minority owners having been tracking the 18-year-old winger for some time while Spurs have also registered their interest in the Swedish star.

Bardghji has previously stated that he is ‘ready’ to step up and that it would be a ‘dream’ to join a top club.

In a new interview with Sportbladet, Bardghji has once again opened up about his future.

‘My main focus is here [at Copenhagen],’ Bardghji said. ‘There is not much more to say. All talk is gone. I try to do as well as possible for FCK. I am happy that I am here.

‘I also chose to stay here. It feels good. It’s fun to think about [a possible move to Tottenham]. You never know, it could happen. Hard to say now.’

Bardghji is set to test himself against Manchester City when Copenhagen face Pep Guadiola’s side in the last 16 of the Champions League.

‘It’s a tough match but incredibly fun,’ Bardghji added. ‘It is big for the club, the players and the fans to play a round of 16 in the Champions League.

‘We have great chances. We have shown at home at the Park that we can measure up to them. We drew against Manchester City last season. It is not impossible.’
